 APGAR VILLAGE LODGE on Lake McDonaldDo you need a place to call home, while you explore Glacier National Park? Here is a lovely Lodge, located in Apgar Village. This restful scenic lodge is at the southern end of Lake Mc Donald, just two miles North of West Glacier. This lodge has 48 units, with 26 of them having kitchenettes. You will find a stove, pots, pans and all necessary appliances. You can make your own coffee here or go to the office for a Complimentary morning cup. You will be pleased to know that these units have electric heat and showers. However, there are no telephones in the rooms to take your attention away from surrounding beauty and activities. If the need arises though, you will find that the village of Apgar has plenty of phone booths. Some rooms will even have a television. Three of the cabins have a back door that looks out over the lake and you may fish from your backdoor if wanted. All other cabins are very close to Lake McDonald also. Each Cabin has a picnic table and is decorated in "Old West decor". While enjoying your stay here, you will have access to some of the best hiking, fishing, boating, swimming and river rafting in all of Montana. And for avid golfers, there is the beautiful Glacier View Golf Course just one mile from West Glacier. You will love exploring our Visitor's Center and gift shop in Apgar Village, there is also a Café and a store for supplies. Take my advise and rent a boat to ride around the lake, the sights are something you won't want to miss. Our Lodge is open from early May until late Sept. This Lodge is A.A.A. approved, And all accommodations are "smoke Free". Apgar Village around town Phone 406-888-5484, Fax----406-888-5273 Please make reservations early.
